E-Meter
Scientologese- “E-Meter” is short for electro-psychometer. The e-meter is an electronic instrument, similar to a lie detector, used to measure emotional response during audits in Scientology. The e-meter is purported to aid in the discovery and clearing away of “engrams,” negative mental impressions (traumas).
